Bukittinggi
is my village. Bukittinggi is one of the famous city in Sumatra. Actually in
west Sumatra. The landmark of bukittinggi is the dream land of Sumatra. As I
know, every people always say that bukttinggi is the beautiful city. Because everybody
known, bukittinggi have the best view. That’s why some tourist love to go to
this city.
There are
some places that you must go if you come to this city. The first one is fort de
kock. As the name, fort the kock was the dutch heritage. Did you know that
bukittinggi was the capical city in indonesia?
Ya. Bukittinggi is the city was the capital of Indonesia during the
emergency government of the republic Indonesia. The second one is sianok
canyon. Ngarai sianok or sianok canyon was a great canyon in this city. You would
see fascinating of sianok canyon in the shadow of marapi mountain. And the
famous one is jam gadang. The landmark of bukittinggi. Jam gadang means big o’clock.
If you go to the market, specially pasar atas or up market, you will see jam
gadang standing greatly near the market. The same one with fort de kock, jam
gadang was a gift of the dutch in 1926.
There are
so many place that I can’t describe. I suggest you to come to my beautiful
city. I bet you that you never feel dispointed with your traveling in
bukittinggi. Because bukittinggi is the dreamland of Sumatra
